Black Diamond ReVolt – Review – USB-Rechargeable Headlamp (by Guillaume Hullin)
Review of my lighting system part 2: my headlamp. I use the Black Diamond ReVolt USB-rechargeabe headlamp.
I always love Black Diamond equipment because they use to be to the point and without useless feature. This one is no exception. I was looking for USB rechargeable because I do carry quite some electricity with me for the camera and drone, so why not recharge also my light.
This is not a strong far reaching light like my LedLenser T7.2 (see my review https://youtu.be/zxh1xzNzXns) but it is way enough to navigate in the forest without need of other flashlight.
The most important feature that I love with my headlamp (excluding that it is rechargeable) are:
– easy switch between spot and wide mode
– when you turn it on, it start with 75% light output which is enough in most cases, click again and you get 100%. I found this system very smart because you economize quite some battery.

Concerning flashlight and lighting system in general, I have seen this war over who will have the more Lumens… Honestly I don’t think it matter really.
